CCM CHEMICALS SAFETY PERFORMANCE
SITE SAFETY PERFORMANCE
It is a
measurement on Safety Performance at the various CCMC sites. It provides key safety indicators i.e Lost Time Incidents (LTI),
reportable rate and dangerous occurrences.
Like financial targets all sites are measured on key safety indicators.
TRANSPORTATION
SAFETY STATISTICS
Since
CCMC transports most of our chemicals in road tankers and lorries, safety in
transportation is key to the way we conduct our business. This is the
reason why we monitor safety performance during transportation. Key
indicators are reportable accidents, dangerous occurrences and speeding.
SAFETY INCIDENTS AT CUSTOMER'S
LOCATION
Under
the Responsible Care Programme one of the Codes of Practice is Product
Stewardship Programme. In support of this programme, we conduct Product
Safety Training for customers on the use of chemicals sold by CCMC. Safety
audits are also conducted to ensure the customer's installation meets the
requirement under local legislations and guidelines.
CCMC also monitors
safety incidents at customer's location that involves the delivery of CCMC
products. Thus we can provide unrivaled safety services to the
customer.
